ZISCOSTEEL Limited is a State Owned Enterprise (SOE) involved in the sustainable production and supply of value added iron and steel products and engineering services, with subsidiaries Buchwa Iron Mining Company (BIMCO) involved in the mining of Iron ore and Limestone upstream and Lancashire Steel (Private) limited involved in the manufacture of Rod and Wire products downstream. Apart from the subsidiaries, the Company is also a major shareholder in Zimchem Refiners, which processes tar and benzol into several chemical products, i.e. coal tar fuel, benzol, creosote, toluene, xylene and benzene derivatives.
